TRAINING OF THE TRAINERS AT INSA, LYON, FRANCE (8-12 December, 2014)

UA partners participated in training of the trainers program (WP1) organized by French partners, INSA, Lyon. Main issues concerned developing USD curriculum modules (WP2), SEHUD network and prospects (WP7) as well as project managerial issues (WP8). Special attention was paid to sustainable districts of Lyon and city visual communications.

UA partners had opportunity to visit Light Festival and were presented Light Cluster by Patrice Klert Gerard at Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry; International LUCI network (Lightening Urban Community International) by Alexandr Colombane; Lyon lighting policy by Frederic Duron, representative of Department of Urbanizing. UA partners visited Lyon Urban Planning Agency and had a walking tour with a preliminary presentation of the Lyon district La Duchere. They also visited Rhone Archives building with a presentation of eco-architecture and smart technologies realization by its architect.

Working sessions were devoted to solving problems of developing training package for Module 5 with supervision by Jean-Michel Deleuil (INSA) and Igor Klimov (KRONUAL). Training materials were loaded to USD self-developing knowledge base. Managerial issues concerning 1) pilot phase evaluation and control process, 2) co-financing, 3) financing course units publication for getting UA ministry license; 4) approaching visits of UA partners to Ukraine; 5) new projects development within ERASMUS + scheme were discussed. As a result UA partners have gained competence in USD certified by INSA, developed SEHUD network by establishing links with Lyon organizations dealing with city sustainable development and solved a range of problems concerning managerial issues of the project.
